You don’t have to invent something new to be a success. Seeing a gap in the market or improving on a current product or service can result in real success.
For many years Mr Sriram had been successfully making and supply reusable bags made from natural fibres to a wide range of business.
Then along came his daughter Smruti Sriram who spots a gap in the market, Fashion Bags.
Building on her fathers early success Supreme Creations now manufacturers “several million” bags a year and supplies 50,000 clients around the world from UK supermarkets Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury’s, to US sportswear giant Nike, and fashion retailer Top Shop.
And its not just about Supreme Creations and bags – think more easily filled feeding bottles for babies and more comfortable underwear. Success is all about addressing a gap in the market.
